On the sunny Saturday of 7th September 2024, FunCo had the privilege of orchestrating the Tampines Courtview Resident’s Network Open House Carnival, a spectacular celebration of community spirit. The event was designed to offer a day of endless fun, laughter, and excitement for residents of all ages. With a rich variety of activities, performances, and delightful treats, it transformed an ordinary day into a festive gathering where bonds were strengthened and memories created.

From the very first moment, the carnival was filled with energy and spectacle. FunCo curated an unforgettable lineup of performances and entertainment, creating a truly magical experience for all attendees.

Balloon Sculptor and Magician Artists

‍‍As residents arrived, they were greeted by a whimsical Balloon Sculptor Artist who dazzled the children with intricate balloon creations. From animals to fantastical creatures, the sculptor’s hands were a blur of colour and creativity.

At the same time, the talented Magician Artist kept everyone on the edge of their seats with a series of spellbinding tricks and illusions. The magician’s clever sleights of hand and awe-inspiring magic tricks left guests of all ages astonished, adding an element of wonder to the event.

Cultural Performances – Gu Qin, Lion, and Dragon Dances

‍As the day unfolded, the carnival took a more cultural turn with a captivating performance by a skilled Gu Qin Performer, whose melodious notes echoed through the grounds, transporting the audience into the heart of traditional Chinese culture.

Following the enchanting melodies, a thrilling and vibrant display of Lion Dance and Dragon Dance performances took center stage. The lively drum beats, combined with the dramatic movements of the lion and dragon dancers, brought a rush of excitement. The synchronised movements, vivid colours, and powerful energy of these performances added a festive traditional touch that was deeply appreciated by the crowd.

No carnival is complete without mouth-watering food, and FunCo delivered a feast of delights, turning the venue into a paradise for food lovers.

Churros Live Station

The smell of freshly fried churros filled the air, tempting attendees with the promise of something sweet and crispy. At the Churros Live Station, guests could watch as golden churros were prepared and served hot, dusted with cinnamon sugar, and drizzled with chocolate or caramel sauce. A true carnival classic that kept visitors coming back for more.

Popcorn and Candy Floss Live Station

‍‍For those with a sweet tooth, the Popcorn and Candy Floss Station was a crowd-pleaser. Children and adults alike indulged in fluffy clouds of pink and blue candy floss, while the popcorn station churned out bags of warm, buttery goodness that had the scent of nostalgia in every bite.

Bunny Mascot

‍Throughout the carnival, a friendly and charming Bunny Mascot roamed the grounds, delighting children with hugs, high-fives, and plenty of photo opportunities. The lovable bunny quickly became the star of the day for younger guests, bringing joy to everyone he met.

Ensuring the event was flawlessly executed was FunCo’s dedicated Emcee, who brought warmth and charisma to the event. The emcee’s lively commentary, interactive games, and smooth coordination kept the event moving smoothly from one activity to the next, ensuring no one missed out on the action. Whether introducing performances, organising games, or engaging with the audience, the emcee ensured that the carnival remained lively, fun, and cohesive throughout the day.
