The recent Nanyang NRP Public Consultation at Jurong West was more than just a discussion about community plans — it was a full-on celebration, thanks to FunCo’s lively and flavourful additions! While residents gathered to hear updates and share feedback with Nanyang’s MP, they also got to enjoy a host of treats and entertainment that made the event extra special.
The classic carnival favourite — popcorn — was a hit among all ages. Warm, buttery, and freshly popped, the irresistible aroma alone had residents lining up for seconds. It was the perfect light snack to enjoy while mingling with neighbours and soaking in the event atmosphere.
Our cup corn station added a hearty local touch! Served hot and generously buttered, this all-time favourite snack brought smiles to residents looking for something warm and satisfying.
No community event is complete without some nostalgic bites. Our Muah Chee station served up pillowy-soft glutinous rice balls coated in fragrant peanut and sugar — made fresh on-site. It was a crowd favourite, with many coming back for more!
Under Singapore’s sunny skies, our ice cream cart was a welcome sight. Residents cooled off with scoops of their favourite flavours, adding a refreshing pause between activities.
Our talented balloon sculptor was a true crowd-puller! From animals to swords and flowers, residents — especially the young ones — were thrilled to bring home a colourful balloon creation made just for them. The vibrant sculptures added fun and flair to the event and kept the kids happily entertained.
